Saxony, the 750-acre mixed use development spanning across Fishers and Noblesville, will host a variety of events this summer in Fishers.
A list of some of the events offered:
Saxony Market – Saturday Farmers Market from May 23 thru Sept. 12 from 8 a.m. to noon at 13578 E. 131st St., Fishers. Presented by IU Health Saxony Hospital.
Movies in the Park – Various movies held in Witten Park during the summer. May 23: “Monsters University,” June 6: “Big Hero Six” and June 20: “The Lego Movie.” All show times begin at dusk.
Summer Concert Series – Concerts in Witten Park. June 12: Cashae will perform, July 10: Stella Luna & the Satellites, and Aug. 14: Toy Factory. All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 9:30 p.m.
Independence Celebration Concert and Fireworks – Takes place on July 3 at Witten Park. My Yellow Rickshaw will be the featured band starting at 7 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m. The fireworks will begin after the band. Presented by IU health Saxony hospital.
Salute to Summer Concert – The Bishops will play Sept. 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Witten Park.
All events are free and open to the public.
“Other than that we host a lot of events out here, some of which we are a partner in and some of which are just hosted on our property,” Candi McKinnies-Shreve, the marketing manager for Saxony Management Company, said.
In addition to the events, the Saxony Lake and Beach will open to the public on May 23 and will remain open until Sept. 7. The lake is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, and offers boat rental, swimming, fishing and more.
