Alan Wayne McCormick of Zionsville was sentenced to 70 months in prison on March 23 after pleading guilty to five counts of armed bank robbery. The robberies happened between July 2012 and March 2014 at banks in Eminence, Poland, Ladoga, Linden and Darlington, Ind. McCormick stole a total of nearly $62,000 from the banks and has been ordered to pay restitution in full.
