Fishers police respond to armed robbery at Kroger


On Mar. 2, just after 8:30 p.m., Fishers police officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Kroger Pharmacy located at 9799 E. 116th Street (116th Street and Cumberland Road). Officers met with two employees who reported that a male approached the drop-off counter and presented a note. The note indicated the suspect had a gun and demanded various narcotics. The employee complied with the demand and the suspect fled the store. Neither of the employees was injured during this robbery.

Police officers set a perimeter and searched the area with a Police K-9. The suspect remains at large at this time.
