Boone County residents are urged to use caution if venturing outdoors this afternoon through tomorrow as an ice storm warning has been issued from 4 p.m. Sunday through 7 a.m. Monday morning. Weather conditions are expected to include precipitation that could lead to ice accumulating in the area.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 12. Snow or sleet is expected in the morning as temperatures are expected to hover around the freezing point throughout much of the day.
