ZCHS Students from Mrs. Harmon’s U.S. History class took part in a project called “Leadership and Legacy”  which is part of the National History Day Competition.  Students can advance to the local and state competitions in hopes of moving on to the national competition over the summer in Washington DC.   There were several volunteers that donated their time to interview and critique the students’ projects in hopes of advancing to the next level.  Volunteers included board members, ZCS and ZCHS staff, and members of the community.

ZCHS’ Special Education department, with the assistance of Zionsville art students, painted a temporary wall during the construction of the new additions to ZCHS.  Lowes provided all of the supplies at cost, and Home Depot provided the students with training.
