A suspected meth dealer, 39-year-old Brent Krout, of Zionsville, was fatally shot Dec. 19, after a police chase through Morgan County.
This came after a nearly seven-hour chase when the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Unit tried to pull him over while he was driving.
“Once the red lights and sirens came on he took off and refused to stop and led police on a chase that covered miles,” ISP spokesman Sgt. Curt Durnil said.
Police say that Krout had a 16-year history of drug charges and arrests.
