Susana Suarez, Zionsville Town Councilor, became the first – and currently only – candidate to file for HD 24 replacing outgoing State Rep. Steve Braun.
“I believe education is the great equalizer and have devoted a big part of my time on the Indiana Higher Education Commission to ensuring student success,” said Suarez. “Fixing the school funding formula, as well as equipping our municipalities with the right tools for economic development, will be my top priorities if I’m successful.”
The caucus to replace Rep. Braun is scheduled for Dec. 9.
