Shirley Mae Sharkey, 71, of Noblesville, died Oct. 29, 2014, at Riverview Health in Noblesville. Born Aug. 29, 1943, in Evansville, she was the daughter of William and Ethel (Horn) Kuhn.
She retired from Industrial Dielectric after 17 years of service. She was a very loving woman and loved to have fun. She adored her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by everyone. She loved word search puzzles and everything to do with Native Americans.
Survivors include her children, William David Sharkey, Charles Russell (Dawn) Sharkey, Davina Jo (Jason) Hodge, Elizabeth Marie Sharkey, Christy (Charles) Meyer and Bryce Sharkey; sisters, Carolyn (Kenny) Harris, Peggy (Terry) Culp and Betty Miller; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles David Sharkey; and brother, Paul Kuhn.
A memorial visitation was held Nov. 3 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity. Online condolences may be made at www.randallroberts.com.
