On Friday night Fishers police officers were able to identify the person responsible for walking thru neighborhoods, dressed in a clown costume, causing concern for some residents. This person fully cooperated with officers and provided a full explanation for their actions.
After speaking with officers it was determined this person had not committed any crime and never had any criminal intent. This person conveyed to officers that they never intended to cause concern and their only intent was to celebrate their favorite time of year, Halloween.
Do to the fact that no crime was committed and this person poses no threat to the community their identity will not be released. This update will serve as the final comment, from the Fishers Police Department, regarding this situation.
