Update: Fire began in the garage but exact determination is still being investigated today.
Family was asleep and alerted by working smoke detectors. All exited safely with firefighters locating a pet hiding, later in the incident. Pet was ok.
Early estimate on loss is $250,000.
Firefighters continue to urge all residents to make sure they have working smoke detectors. Here again they prove they save lives.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the 3 car garage fully involved with fire and extension beginning into the house. Fire crews battled the flames and stopped the fire with some fire damage to 1 bedroom upstairs. There is smoke damage throughout the house with water damage to first floor and basement.
Cause is undetermined at this point with investigation continuing.
