Before the Westfield and Noblesville high school volleyball teams competed on the court the two came together to honor and recognize local first responders on the 13^th anniversary of 9/11. Following a short sound clip of radio communication, players handed police officers, firefighters and EMS personnel with a hand-written note and carnations. In addition to the ceremony between the varsity and JV matches, the teams wore special 9/11 jerseys and salute to heroes’ bracelets. (Photos by Robert Herrington)
