Witham Health Service is hosting Anson’s first-ever blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 23, in the Bloodmobile that will be parked in the Witham Hospital front parking lot.
Organizers state that the donation process will take each individual less than one hour to complete. It is recommended that donors have a light snack before donating. Most people are eligible to donate and there are very few causes for deferral and very few medications that are not acceptable.
