Meet Laura McCollum, she is a part time administrative assistant at First Baptist Church on Keystone Parkway, has her own Mary Kay business, and has been a Fishers resident for 3 years.
What is your favorite restaurant and why?
“In Fishers my favorite would be the ‘RAM Restaurant and Brewery.’ They have good food and it’s close to home.”
What was the last good book you read?
“I like to read sort of crime fiction, I like detective things and so forth. So I just finished a David Baldacci book. It was good, fast paced.”
What music have you been listening to recently?
“I love classical music. So a lot of times on my way into work, I listen to the classical music station 88.7. “
What do you do in your spare time?
“I love to read. My husband and I love to camp. We like movies. I love to have people in, I love to entertain, cook and bake.”
What do you like most about your community?
“The things that I need or want to get are close by. We don’t have school aged children any more but I think that the quality of the schools are still a huge positive.”
