Randall Drive will be closed at 96th Street starting today at about 9 a.m. after the heaviest part of the morning rush hour has passed. This is the final phase of this work to complete the realignment of the existing Randall Drive with the traffic signal at the HH Gregg store entrance.
This will help traffic in the area as this new alignment for Randall Drive will allow southbound traffic approaching 96thStreet to turn on to 96th Street with the aid of the traffic signal. In addition to the realignment, the new section of road will include curbs and sidewalks and connect to an asphalt pedestrian/biking path along the north side of 96th Street.
Construction is anticipated to be completed in four weeks weather dependent.
