In a Facebook post from town council president Jeff Papa, Papa disclosed important commuter information on the bridge being rebuilt on Ford Road.
Papa stated the following: “The Boone County Highway Department has confirmed that 96th St. to the west of Ford Rd. on the north side of the bridge over Eagle Creek will be opened to traffic the evening of August 29th. Access to and from the west from Ford Rd. will be permitted, allowing travel to and from the Moore Rd. area; detour signage will be amended to reflect this change. The bridge itself is not scheduled to reopen until Thanksgiving, and updated information will be posted upon receipt from and confirmation by the Boone County Highway Department.”
Current in Zionsville will soon post updates on the bridge once confirmed with the highway department.
