Harvey J. Tunget, 85, of Noblesville, died Aug. 11, 2014 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. Born Jan. 5, 1929 in Indianapolis, he was the son of John and Catharine (Overdorf) Tunget.
He graduated from Noblesville High School in 1947, and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He owned the Noblesville Dairy Queen store for more than 25 years and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife.
Survivors include his siblings, Martha Spurrier Himmelman, Mary (Jerry) Ricketts, Don (Nancy) Tunget and Elmer R. Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ruby Tunget, who died on July 30, 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 14 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Rd., Noblesville, with the Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis. Online condolences may be made at www.randallroberts.com.
