Beginning around 9 p.m. tonight, crews plan to install beams for U.S. 31 over 169th Street. The right lane of southbound U.S. 31 is expected to closed near 169th Street between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. while crews set the beams. Temporary stoppages of up to 20 minutes each are expected on 169th Street.
Upon completion, direct access to/from U.S. 31 at 169th Street will be eliminated, as 169th Street will cross under U.S. 31. Nearby access to/from U.S. 31 will be provided via the interchanges at Ind. 32 and 161st Street.
