Noblesville Millers win state baseball title

Noblesville High School earned its first state baseball title beating Terre Haute North 2-1 in the Class 4A championship on June 20 at Victory Field in Indianapolis.

The Patriots scored in the first inning but the Millers tied the game in the third inning with a sacrifice fly ball from junior Brian McLean.  Noblesville took the lead in the six inning when senior Zack St. Pierre scored off a triple from senior first baseman Dax McLochlin.
