For the second consecutive year the Carmel 5/6 Pups Gold lacrosse team won the Indiana Youth Lacrosse Association state championship. They took the trophy in a 7-4 win against a very good team from Hamilton Southeastern. The 5/6 Pups Gold team went undefeated in IYLA competition, outscoring its opponents by a combined score of 114-13.
