A city spokeswoman said Carmel plans to repave two sections of Pennsylvania Street starting at 8 p.m. May 8.
The repaving will take place each night from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. until the repaving is complete. The work is being done at night due to heavy daytime traffic volumes resulting from the U.S. 31 detour.
The first section is between 122nd Street south to a point about 200 feet north of 116th Street.
The second section is from 103rd Street south to College Avenue.
