Leon R. Mosbaugh, 87, of Noblesville, died April 13, 2014 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. Born June 8, 1926 in Cicero, he was the son of Glen and Denzil (Grimm) Mosbaugh.
He was a computer systems analyst for American United Life Insurance Company and also was a farmer in Hamilton County. Leon and wife, Florence, owned and operated Mosbaugh’s Grocery in Noblesville for 27 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Mosbaugh, whom he married on Oct. 30, 1954; children, Gary (Annette) Mosbaugh, Diana (Doug) Spear and Lisa (Phil) Morris; and grandchildren, Jeremy Mosbaugh, Kimberly (Britt) Wiseman, Ryan and Justin Spear, and Alexandria, Jessica and Jonah Rankin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothea Leach.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. April 17 at at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Rd., Noblesville. Funeral services are 11 a.m. April 18 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
