The Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees has scheduled a number of focus groups with parents, community members, teachers and staff to provide input with the district’s superintendent search. Dr. Libbie Conner, who

has served as superintendent since 2009, announced last month that she will retire on Sept. 1.

BWP and Associates will conduct a public forum at 7 p.m. April 16 at the Educational Services Center, 18025 River Rd. Patrons will be asked to share their thoughts to help develop a leadership profile for superintendent candidates.

“The forums help the school board determine what traits people are looking for in a new superintendent and serve as a guide,” said Mark Booth, director of student services.

Prior to the community forum, the school board is seeking additional public input through a brief online survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/NSSuperintendentSearch.The survey will be open until 4 p.m. April 16.
