The purpose of the nine-member Executive Committee is to consider and approve significant firm policies of the partnership, subject to partner input as appropriate, and generally to consider significant overall management and administrative matters of the firm.

Christopher Janak, who joined the firm in 1994, is a partner in the Utilities Group and Governmental Services Group. He has served as special and local counsel for many for-profit and nonprofit utilities, regional districts, conservancy districts, municipalities and other governmental entities throughout the State of Indiana.

In recent years, Janak has actively represented clients in a number of precedent setting cases involving utility rates, territorial disputes, utility procedures, the powers and duties of various utilities, the jurisdiction of different public service providers, and the rights and powers of municipalities, including annexation.

Janak earned his J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
