Indiana University Health North Hospital is seeking former patients and their family members to join the hospital’s Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC).

The PFAC was established in 2012 to gather helpful feedback from patients and family members who have received care at IU Health North Hospital. The feedback received through the council is used to make changes that will improve patient care. Past PFAC discussion topics have included such things as patient way-finding, ease of access to hospital services and marketing collateral reviews.

“We are so thankful for the dedicated members of our Patient & Family Advisory Council,” said IU Health North Hospital PFAC leader Julia Whiteker, MSN, RN, AOCNS. “We know how important it is to listen to our patients, and that’s why we’re welcoming new voices to our group. Since the group’s inception, these enthusiastic PFAC members have given us valuable feedback that we have used to make important hospital and process improvements that directly impact patient care.”

Requirements
Individuals interested in volunteering to become a PFAC member must:
• Be at least 18 years old
