A local Carmel business is hoping that people looking to help others in need will come out to support a fundraiser Dec. 14.
Gator Motorsport, 3353 W.96th St., will host the Coats, Cans and Cars event to help spread some holiday cheer. People are encouraged to come to the facility with donations of canned goods or winter coats and should be prepared to enjoy popcorn, hot chocolate and some of Indy’s most beautiful cars.
Scott Swan from WTHR Channel 13 will be in attendance along with Boomer from the Indiana Pacers. Santa will be present for photo opportunities as well.
The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 14, and all items collected will benefit The Julian Center.
