INDOT_logo_gif_475x310_q85 (2)Crews will begin restricting the left lane of northbound US 31 between 146th and 169th streets at 9 p.m. on Monday. The barrier wall will be removed overnight and all restrictions are expected to end by 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Contractors recently shifted two lanes of northbound traffic to the right between 151st and 169th streets. Left turns between these intersections are restricted for the safety of motorists and workers, who will be paving in the median and making preparations to shift southbound traffic to share the existing northbound side of the highway. This shift is expected within the upcoming weeks.

The stretch of US 31 between 146th and 169th streets will include new freeway exits at 146th Street, 151st Street and 161st Street.
