The 2013 Underground Railroad Run will be held on Saturday, beginning at 8 a.m.
The following streets will be closed for this event:
* Hoover Street, between Asa Bales Park and Union Street
* Hoover Street, between Union and East streets
* East Street, between 191st and Hoover streets
* Union Street, between Ind. 32 and Maple Park Drive
Streets will be closed for approximately two hours. All roadways will be open no later than 10:30 a.m.
Parking on Union Street is discouraged. Drivers parking along Union Street may not be able to exit the area while the race is in progress. Residents are encouraged to find an alternative parking area during the road closure.
