The MyART School of Zionsville, 80 W. Pine St., is offering a 12-week group starting Monday to help support participants in discovering personal areas of creativity. Cost for the 12-week group is $199. Please register early as space is limited to 10 participants. Participants will develop a gentle action plan based on these interests. Class will include facilitator led guided imagery and meditation, tools for “getting into the creative flow”, artist date opportunities, other techniques designed to assist you in getting out of your own way, periodic visits from outside speakers who will share their own creative process, and much more. We will also discuss one chapter per week from the book “The Artist’s Way.” This class is for all levels and no art experience necessary. Creative interests of all types are welcome, including but not limited to visual and theater arts, music, and writing. People with no creative experience have found this group to be very powerful.
FACILITATOR: Debbie Tuvell- Thies is an experienced group facilitator with over 16 years of experience in counseling and social work in a variety of settings. Cultivating creativity is one of her passions and she is an avid painter, writer, gardener, and loves decorating with glitter and bright colors. She believes this process needs to be FUN! She is also available for individual creativity coaching sessions. She has previously facilitated this class at Myart.
