Today at 2 p.m., Morgan Lucas and Brandon Bernstein, drivers with Morgan Lucas Racing, will team up with Linsey Weenk, driver of the Lucas Oil Crusader, for a meet and greet and autograph signing at St.Vincent Medical Center Northeast in Fishers. The meet and greet and autograph signing is open to the public from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Morgan Lucas has been a friend and supporter of St.Vincent for many years, and, since 2008, has served on the Board of Directors of the St.Vincent Hospital Foundation, helping to raise funds and awareness to benefit children and families served by the faith-based hospital.
Annually, Lucas hosts the Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Outing in memory of former drag racer and good friend, Eric Medlen. The outing has raised a total of $176,935 in the past four years. Proceeds from the Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Outing have helped fund important programs and initiatives, most recently, the creation of a kid-friendly MRI suite at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent that will feature a racing theme.
Linsey Weenk is the Lucas Oil Crusader driver and one of the Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam’s most popular and well-known superstars. Weenk is in Indianapolis for the Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 26 beginning at 7 p.m. More than 4 million fans attend Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam each year. The event has been coming to Indianapolis for 14 years.
