PulteGroup, Inc. has purchased a 24-acre parcel for a new single-family home subdivision in Anson near Zionsville.

The preparation of 36 lots for new homes is underway, beginning with site work and improvements along with the installation of new infrastructure including roads, water and sewer connections, storm detention, and entry signage. The new development has been named Clark Meadows, after the former land owners, Don and Virginia Clark and family.

“We are very pleased that PulteGroup, Inc. has chosen to expand in the Anson community,” said Craig Anderson, vice president, leasing and general manager of Anson. “They are a well-respected home builder in central Indiana and have received a favorable response from new home buyers since they began building in Anson last year. The growing list of amenities at Anson has proven attractive for individuals and families looking for residential communities with everything they need for their busy lifestyles just minutes away.”

The decision to build homes in the area follows increased interest in Anson and the new product offering.

“We have enjoyed strong activity by buyers for the homes we are offering in the current section of the neighborhoods at Anson but have also received requests for other lot and home sizes, different exterior designs, and alternative floor plans,” said Tony Barbee, division president with Pulte. “With our new planned community, as well as our brand new floor plans, we hope to appeal to a different segment of home buyers with different needs and tastes.”

As part of Pulte’s new planned development, an amenities center will be built in the future for use by all Neighborhoods at Anson residents. The center will include a swimming pool, wading pool, bathhouse, decking adjacent to the pools and bathhouse, playground and half-court basketball court. Clark Meadows will be serviced by the Zionsville Community School system.
