Nighttime US 31 Lane Restrictions Next Week

The Indiana Department of Transportation will temporarily restrict traffic lanes on US 31 between Old Meridian and 103rd Streets next week.

Between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7 and Wednesday, August 8, crews will be working near the US 31 and 106th Street intersection.  On Thursday, August 9 and Friday, August 10, crews will be working near the US 31 and 116th Street intersection.  The work will affect the right lanes of northbound and southbound US 31 and the left turn lanes on 106th and 116th Streets.

The traffic restrictions will allow engineers to perform a geotechnical investigation and obtain soil and rock information at the sites, which will be reconstructed as part of the new US 31 Hamilton County corridor project.
