Nighttime US 31 Lane Restrictions Next Week

The Indiana Department of Transportation will temporarily restrict traffic lanes on US 31 between Old Meridian and 103^rd Streets next week.

Between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7 and Wednesday, August 8, crews will be working near the US 31 and 106^th Street intersection.  On Thursday, August 9 and Friday, August 10, crews will be working near the US 31 and 116^th Street intersection.  The work will affect the right lanes of northbound and southbound US 31 and the left turn lanes on 106^th and 116^th Streets.

The traffic restrictions will allow engineers to perform a geotechnical investigation and obtain soil and rock information at the sites, which will be reconstructed as part of the new US 31 Hamilton County corridor project.
