Peter James Knights, 64, Noblesville, died March 24. He was born Feb. 28, 1952 in Reading, England.
Peter was an exemplary chef having traveled the world learning and honing his culinary skills. He considered himself a simple man and enjoyed life and its many adventures, such as bird watching, collecting rocks, Rugby and especially snorkeling in Maui. Peter loved animals in general; Sanders, his beloved dog was always by his side.
Peter was a very gifted man, revealed through his creations of Ice and Sugar Sculptures. He was also talented in playing musical instruments, which included trumpet, piano and the bongos. He enjoyed listening to the English Electronic Band.
Survivors include his children, Elizabeth Charlton of Reading, England, Morgan Knights of Cream Ridge, N.J. and Marissa Knights of Noblesville; brother Michael Knights of Reading, England; granddaughter Lily Grace Charlton and close friend Nancy Brown of Noblesville.
Peter’s wishes were to not have a funeral service but to celebrate his life by keeping good memories close to the heart.
