Wilma Kathleen Heiny, 75, Noblesville, died Feb. 2 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. She was born March 16, 1940 to Willis and Geneva (Swinford) King in Noblesville.

Wilma retired in 2005 as transportation coordinator for Noblesville Schools, where she had worked for more than 20 years, beginning her career there as a bus driver. She was a member of Refuge Christian Church in Noblesville for more than 50 years. She enjoyed being around people and loved spending time with her family and friends. She had also been a part-time limousine driver for TLC.

She is survived by two daughters, Laura (Brett) Hopkins and Jill Heiny; sister Nancy Atterson; grandsons Jeremy (Stephanie) Hopkins and Joshua (Cassandra) Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Braydon, Ryker and Vivian Hopkins; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen’s husband, Donald James Heiny, who died in 1997, and a nephew, Christopher Atterson, preceded her in death.
