Obituary: Deena Ann Granger

Deena Ann Granger, 66, of Noblesville, died Aug. 18, 2014 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. Born May 10, 1948 in Noblesville, she was the daughter of Everett and Thelma (Sebring) Hampton.

She was graduate of Noblesville High School, an assembly worker for Guide Lamp, then later a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel AME Church in Noblesville, a puzzler and avid reader.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Jo Granger-Garcia; son, Christopher Lee Granger; grandchildren, Adidas Lee Granger, Joshua Layton Granger, Anton Joseph Granger, Taran Scott Granger, Josslyn Renee Granger, Evren Tyler Granger, Christian Xavier Garcia and Aliyah Renee Wolf; siblings, Gary Lee Hampton, Danny Hampton, Keith Hampton, Steven Hampton, Carmelita Hampton and Angela Hampton-Cunningham; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Joe Granger, in 1983.

Funeral services will be held at noon Aug. 23 at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 17777 Little Chicago Rd., Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Mallory H. Tarrance will officiate.
