The Witham Society Angel Award, featuring a Waterford crystal Guardian Angel, recognizes individuals who have significantly impacted the life of another human being. Witham Health Services President/CEO Dr. Raymond Ingham presented four emergency responders with the Witham Society Angel Award for their heroic actions on Oct. 22. On Nov. 13, Witham Health Services presented the Witham Society Angel Award for outstanding community service to three EMTs and one paramedic for saving a man’s life under difficult conditions. The incident for which the first responders were honored involved Thorntown resident and farmer Lloyd Hayden, who lost both legs below the knee when a combine hit him Oct. 22.
