Amy Nelson, Indiana director of advancement for Make-A-Wish, speaks at the meetup. “These kids are dealing with things we can never really imagine,” she told the group. “We learn about what their hopes and dreams are, and we’re able to make that (dream) happen – but that cannot happen without people like you.”

Members of Synergize, combined with a donation from Modern Woodman, raised $3,600 for Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana during the Synergize 4:30 Meetup on March 24 at 3Up Rooftop Bar in Carmel. In addition to monetary donations, Make-A-Wish is in need of volunteers to assist with constructing home-based wishes, such as pools, remodels and playsets.
