The City of Fishers has announced opportunities it offers for socially distant holiday celebrations.
Shop Fishers
Through Dec. 31
- The event celebrating Small Business Saturday will last throughout December this year. Shop Fishers offers discounts at local restaurants and shops. More than 60 businesses are participating. For a list of participating businesses and services, visit ThisIsFishers.com/ShopFishers.
Fishers Fall Farmers’ Market
Through Dec. 18
- The Fishers Farmers Market is a virtual market. Online ordering is open Saturdays at 9 a.m. through Wednesdays at noon. Orders will be delivered Friday afternoons. For more, visit playfishers.com/FarmersMarket.
Santa’s Mailbox
Through Dec. 15
- Families can drop off letters for Santa in a mailbox at Fishers City Hall, 1 Municipal Dr. If a stamped and addressed envelope is included, children will receive a reply from Santa. Santa Parade
Through Dec. 18 / 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Fishers Parks will spread holiday cheer with a Santa parade through Fishers’ neighborhoods from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Dec. 18. For more, visit playfishers.com/Holidays.
Winter Celebrations Around the World
Various dates
- In place of the Winter Wonderland event, Fishers Parks will offer a socially distant celebration of winter holidays from around the world. The event is from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 12 at Holland Park, from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 15 at Billericay Park and from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at Flat Fork Creek Park. Visit the parks on the select days to take home a craft kit with activities related to celebrations such as Diwali, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Christmas, Kwanzaa and Chinese New Year. Kits are the same at each location and include activities for the whole family.
New Year’s Eve
