Snapshot: Visiting The Waterpark in a pandemic

Enzo Londy, in the fourth stage of Coronavirus opening, is required to write down individual members from each party entering the waterpark names and number to assist in contact tracing.

At the concession stand, customers are now required to move to the back to wait for their food to be called out. The concession workers are required to wear masks and gloves when preparing food and interacting with customers.

Across the entire waterpark, social distancing signs abound. Handwashing stands are set up throughout the facility to increase sanitary measures and decrease the likelihood of spreading the virus.

Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation’s The Waterpark is open, but visitors will notice some changes. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, capacity is reduced, staff members are wearing facemasks and social distancing guidelines are in place. An employee gathers contact information for each guest to assist with contact tracing in case someone who works at or visited the facility is diagnosed with COVID-19.
