Brian Kelley, area development director at the United Negro College Fund discusses the importance and benefits of public contributions. UNCF funds scholarships for black students and general scholarship funds for 37 private historically black colleges and universities across the U.S.

Dee Thornton, a member of the Carmel Advisory Commission on Human Relations, served as the event’s emcee.

United Negro College Fund representatives Sydney Rucker and Bryan Kelley were on hand at the event to raise funds and awareness for their organization.
