Scout Jerry Tang fondly remembers his time after school at the Boys & Girls Club of Boone County – Zionsville Unit. So, when it was time to plan an Eagle Scout project, he naturally thought of helping the club. In particular, he remembered how much everyone enjoyed creating art but how chaotic the art room was, with painting and other supplies stashed haphazardly around the room and supply closet.

So, he set about to bring some order to the chaos.

With the help of fellow Scouts from Troop 358, chartered by St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Zionsville, Tang purchased new shelving for the classroom, assembled it and organized all of the art supplies. Tang is entering his senior year at Zionsville Community High School.
