Noblesville AT&T store robbed, employee escapes

Noblesville Police are continuing to gather details and asking for help to identify two individuals who robbed an AT&T cell phone store in Noblesville. 

At approximately 6:28 p.m. July 22, police were called to the store at 17159 Mercantile Blvd., near Lowe’s and Meijer along Ind. 37, after a report of an armed robbery was made. 

Police said based on witness statements and evidence collected at the scene, two subjects entered the store and confronted the employee with a handgun. The employee was able to flee from store the without injury and without any further contact with the suspects. There were no other employees or customers in the store at the time of the incident, and there were no reported injuries. 

Police said they believe the robbers are men but aren’t sure of other identifying details at this time. Officers said they are reviewing security camera footage from the store and other nearby stores. 

Multiple devices were stolen from the store, and exact inventory is still being assessed as of press time.
