On March 26, Lawrence Police Dept. K-9 Axel was honored by The Historic Fort Benjamin Harrison American Legion Post 510 for serving two tours in Afghanistan prior to his service with the Lawrence Police Dept. as a narcotics dog in Lawrence Township schools.
