Carmel police search for alleged purse thief  

Carmel police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stole a purse from a grocery store shopping cart while the victim was not looking.

The theft occurred at 3:41 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Kroger grocery store at 10679 Michigan Road.
