Lawrence city officials announced Monday evening that trick-or-treating hours in the City of Lawrence will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, instead of Halloween night.
“With the weather that is currently predicted, we believe the children will enjoy this tradition on Tuesday evening rather than the stormy evening we expect on Wednesday,” Lawrence Mayor Steve Collier stated. “We look forward to a safe evening of trick or treating for the children.”
