Community members participate in Special Olympics Torch Relay

Approximately 50 athletes and community volunteers carried the torch through Zionsville Saturday morning.
Led by police escort members of the community and the Special Olympics, athletes run the torch into Lions Park.

The Boone County Unified Torch Relay celebrated the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics Indiana on July 14. Members of the community and the Special Olympics athletes, Led by Zionsville Police Dept. officers, ran the torch through town into Lions Park.
