When Zionsville Community High School freshman and varsity swimmer Tara Harmon and her teammates read that drowning is the second-leading cause of accidental death for children, they knew they had to do something. So they held two clinics in February at the Zionsville Aquatic Center to teach water safety and basic swimming to children and reach out to a population that could be vulnerable to drowning: children with autism.
