Actor/director Rob Reiner received the prestigious 2017 Pioneering Spirit: Lifetime Achievement Award from Heartland and kicked off the festival with his new film “LBJ.”

Heartland’s emcee and local radio/podcaster Kristi Lee (Zionsville) rocked the red carpet opening night.

Josh Kaufman (Indianapolis) was the featured guest artist at the Heartland opening night film “LBJ.”
