Library out of eclipse-viewing glasses, offers other options

CIZ COM 0808 Eclipse

The Carmel Clay Public Library has given away the 1,000 pairs of eclipse-viewing glasses it received, but there are other options to safely experience the natural phenomenon on Aug. 21.

The library will provide NASA’s live video stream of the total solar eclipse in the program room, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Scientists will be present to discuss what’s going on as it happens.

NASA’s live webcast can be streamed at eclipse2017.nasa.gov/eclipse-live-stream.

Those interested in watching the eclipse can make their own viewer like the one here: livescience.com/33906-solar-eclipse-viewer.html
