Fresh, made to order meals from local vendors with no antibiotics and no hormones is the hallmark of Flame Burger, now open on Whitestown Parkway.

“We thought Whitestown/Zionsville would be a perfect fit,” said Shelley Najem, who co-owns the restaurant with her husband, Henri.

This is the restaurant’s second location after opening in Fishers more than a year ago. The construction was done by Henri Najem’s brother, Anthony, who is CEO of Meyer Najem.

“We’ve done Henri’s restaurants for years,” he said.

During a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony on Dec. 15, general manager Jim Shields presented a check for $1,000 to Theresa Hanners, executive director of The Caring Center, which will receive 10 percent of the restaurant’s profits once a month.
