Paving work will lead to several ramp closures next week. All work is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
The closures are:
- Northbound Keystone Avenue ramp to northbound U.S. 31 Oct. 13. Detour is 146th Street to the northbound parallel access ramp to northbound U.S. 31 at 151st St.
- Southbound U.S. 31 near Keystone Avenue Oct. 14. Crews will repair a small area of pavement along southbound U.S. 31 at the 146th Street bridge. The ramp lane of southbound U.S. 31 to Range Line Road/Clay Terrace Boulevard will be closed, but the southbound Keystone Avenue ramp will remain open. Motorists can exit early at 151st Street and use the southbound parallel access ramp to Range Line Road and Clay Terrace Boulevard.
- Southbound U.S. 31 to eastbound I-456 Oct. 14. The ramp will be closed for paving. The detour will take motorists to the southbound U.S. 31 to westbound I-465 ramp to U.S. 421/Michigan Road. Motorists may access eastbound I-465 from Michigan Road.
The closures are expected to conclude by 6 a.m. Oct. 17.
